BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 26. Azerbaijan's Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund (MCGF) has opened the floodgates, dishing out loans amounting to a whopping 3.5 billion manat ($2.09 billion) to a staggering 54,783 borrowers to date.
The data obtained by Trend from the MCGF shows that the aggregate volume of
assured and subsidized financing attained 581 million manat ($342
million).
Furthermore, a total of 7,278 residential units have been
transacted via lease contracts.
The MCGF was established at the end of 2017 as a legal successor of the merger between the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund and the Credit Guarantee Fund.
