BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 16. The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic has invited bids for the supply of automated portable weigh stations to service the Issyk-Kul Ring Road reconstruction project between Korumdu and Balbai Baatyr (km 104–184.5), Trend reports.
The procurement, financed through a loan from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) under Loan No. 1054, will be carried out in line with International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures.
The goods are to be delivered to Bishkek within 90 days from the effective date of the contract, including domestic delivery, assembly, testing, commissioning, and personnel training.
Interested suppliers may obtain the bidding documents in English by submitting a written request to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Islamic Development Bank under the Ministry of Transport and Communications during business hours (09:00–17:00 Bishkek time) or by email.
Completed bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the PIU office at 42 Isanova street, 6th Floor, Office 611, Bishkek, no later than 2:00 PM on November 13, 2025. Late or electronic submissions will not be accepted.
Bids will be publicly opened at the same address and time in the presence of bidders’ representatives. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of $6,000.
