According to the report of the State Insurance Supervision Service under the Ministry of Finance published on Monday, Pasa Sıgorta led the ranking in terms of insurance fees, as in the previous month. Around 14.27 per cent of premiums collected by all companies in January-November fell to this company.
Such an increase in Pasa Sıgorta's premiums in 2012 is connected with the fact that it was chosen as an insurer on the voluntary health insurance of employees of the country's largest company SOCAR.
AzSıgorta (11.72 per cent of all fees of the market) and Ateshgah Sıgorta (10.94 per cent) ranked the second and third respectively.
Pasha Sıgorta is the market leader also in terms of insurance claims. In January-November, the company paid 19.72 million manat, or 24 per cent of all claims from the beginning of the year. It is followed by Azersıgorta with 10.26 million manat (12.43 per cent of total payments) and Ateshgah Sıgorta with 7.05 million manat (9.8 per cent).
The total amount of premiums of all the insurance companies hit 312.97 million manat in January-November, a 62.1 per cent increase during the year and claims hit 82.54 million manat (a 47.52 -per cent increase).
Only reinsurance company AzRe's statistics indices are not indicated in the summary.
