Azerbaijan's Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC has begun developing a plan for the installation of metal structures as part of a project to reconstruct an oil refinery in Baku, a source at the company told Trend.
According to the source, within the project, the company will also conduct installation work at the refinery.
"We have prepared the relevant technical specifications and plan to complete the development of project documents in the next two months," the source said.
It was also noted that the implementation of the refinery reconstruction project will be carried out in stages, and Akkord will be fully involved in this project.
Akkord has taken an active part in the construction of road infrastructure, which was designed by the Singapore company Surbana International Consultants PTC LTD, at Galaba Square near the Ganjlik metro station in Baku and at the intersections of adjacent streets.
Presently, Akkord Corporation holds the leading position in the implementation of projects for the construction of bridges, tunnels and other road projects, in the construction of residential houses and other public buildings, as well as in the production of building materials.
