A container-type convective dryer has been created in Uzbekistan for the food and pharmaceutical industries, Trend reports citing the Intellectual Property Agency under Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Justice.
Further development of the food industry for processing (drying) fruits and vegetables grown in household plots requires introduction of modern technologies in the agricultural sector, and it is also important to increase the investment attractiveness of the industry.
The device is designed to dehydrate agricultural products while preserving useful nutrients and would also serve to extend the shelf life.
An important aspect of the mentioned equipment is to reduce energy consumption, increase efficiency and preserve biologically active substances in the finished product.
Islam Karimov Tashkent State Technical University was granted a patent in accordance with the law of Uzbekistan "On inventions, utility models and industrial designs" for the dryer.
