The value of steel export from Turkey to Uzbekistan rose 1.4 times from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of 2020 and amounted to $36.3 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
In June 2021, the export of steel from Turkey to Uzbekistan surged 3.4 times as compared to June 2020, surpassing $12.4 million, the ministry said.
Turkey increased the export of steel by 54.9 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of last year up to $9.2 billion.
Turkey exported steel worth $2.02 billion in June 2021, which is 81 percent more than in June 2020.
The export of steel reached $15.9 billion over the past 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021).
