Kazakh Intergas Central Asia company decreased gas transportation from 102.9 billion cubic meters in 2011 to 95.9 billion cubic meters in 2012, Kazakh National Oil and Gas company KazMunaiGas reported on Monday.
Meanwhile, Intergas Central Asia company's target for the reporting period has been completed by 100 percent.
According to 2012 year totals, the volume of self-capital investments of Intergas Central Asia hit 38 368 million tenge (150.76 tenge = $1) (7 percent increase compared to 2011). Some 97 percent of all investment or 37 209 million tenge was aimed at development of the company's production sector.
Intergas Central Asia was established in 1997 to operate and manage Kazakhstan's main gas transporting infrastructure. The company is a subsidiary of KazTransGas. Intergas Central Asia manages gas transportation network over a total length of over 12,000 kilometres and an annual throughput capacity of up to 190 bcm.
