As of July 29, 2013, the daily volume of gas supplied to the population of Azerbaijan hit 5.4 million cubic meters compared to 4.6 million cubic meters as of July 5, a source in the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) told Trend today.
SOCAR added that 3.3 million cubic meters of the total volume of daily gas consumption in the country was consumed by Baku.
"Some 2.1 million cubic meters of gas fall on the regions of the country daily," SOCAR said.
SOCAR's Azerigaz Production Association is engaged in the distribution and sale of gas in Azerbaijan.
