BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. Iran's Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company has produced more than 26 million tons of various types of gas since its inception (January-February 2021) until August 22, 2023, Trend reports.
Within the mentioned period, Iran's Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company produced approximately 20 million tons of methane, 1.65 million tons of ethane, 1.22 million tons of propane, over 870,000 tons of butane, and over 1.32 million tons of pentane plus.
At the same time, the company produced 500,000 tons of acid gas, which was sent to be pumped into the wells of the Aghajari oil field.
Also, the Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company was delivered a total of 26 million tons of gas (20 million tons of sour gas, 6 million tons of sweet gas) as raw materials during the reporting period.
In particular, the Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company is spending 1.1 billion euros on the construction of flare gas collection facilities in Khuzestan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Bushehr and Fars provinces. After these facilities put into operation, the company's raw materials will increase to 2 billion cubic feet (about 56.6 million cubic meters) per day.
As reported, Iran’s Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company has capacity to produce 11 million tons of methane, 1.5 million tons of ethane, 1 million tons of propane, 500,000 tons of butane, 600,000 tons of gas condensate, 800,000 tons of acid gas annually.
