The Bank Melli Iran sold additional property and shares of its subsidiaries during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 20-July 21, 2020), Trend reports citing the Bank Melli Iran’s website.
According to the report, the Bank Melli Iran sold additional property and shares worth 13.3 trillion rials (about $318 million) during the reporting period.
"This is an increase of 152 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year," the report said.
According to the report, worth of more than 11 trillion rials (about $261 million) additional property was sold in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020).
"The Iranian government continues macro policies to accelerate the process of selling additional property of banks and selling shares of related companies," the report noted.
