The Iranian government is encountering a budget deficit, limited revenues, and a high inflation rate, said the first vice president, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The government has good plans to solve problems, but it is time-consuming, Mohammad Mokhber noted.
The parliament issued a permit for assigning preferential (official) foreign exchange rates to importers as part of the current Iranian year (start March 21, 2021) budget plan that caused a budget deficit for the new administration.
The government policy is to supply essential goods for people, stability of prices, and affordable and cheaper items.
The Plan and Budget Organization intended to draft the new Iranian year's (starts March 21, 2022) budget plan without a deficit.
