The high technologies from Korean producers are widely represented in Azerbaijani market, Azerbaijani Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ramzi Teymurov to South Korea told Trend on August 2.
According to Teymurov, the Korean innovations are represented in the sectors of Baku city management, the organization of the university education system, the intellectual property management system and in a number of other areas with the use of high technologies.
"The Korean side is closely cooperating with the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan. On August 1, the Korean Farmconnect company and the Research Institute of Vegetable Growing under the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of Smart Farming technology," the ambassador said.
He stressed that in South Korea itself, almost all processes are automated and carried out using digital technologies.
"I’m sure that further cooperation between Azerbaijan and South Korea will allow our country to further increase its competitiveness in the IT market, as well as the efficiency of management through modern solutions, to increase the country's investment potential,” Teymurov noted.
“South Korea has extensive experience in this area, and further efforts on bilateral cooperation will contribute to active integration of Korean innovative solutions in Azerbaijan as well," added the diplomat.
