Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan announced tender on Audit of the ADB’s Project Management and Monitoring Unit’s Accounts for financial year (FY) 2017.

The Republic of Uzbekistan has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank ("ADB") towards the cost of "Affordable Rural Housing Program", and it is intended to apply part of the proceeds of this loan for payments under the contract named above.
On 1 June 2017, the Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved a 5-year Result Based Lending (RBL) for the Affordable Rural Housing Program (ARHP or Program). The program, with the support of ADB, seeks to improve the quality of life of the rural population through rural housing construction, employment generation, and private sector development.
The design and monitoring framework of the ARHP includes the following outputs:
Output 1. Beneficiary selection, site selection, and housing construction are in accordance with social equity criteria and national quality standards;
Output 2. Improved policies and systems for the rural housing sector;
Output 3. Strengthened program management and performance monitoring.
The Ministry of Economy is Executing Agencies and the participating commercial banks and
LLC “Qishloq qurilish invest” are implementing agencies and the Program.
Project Management and Monitoring Unit under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MMU) now invites all the eligible and qualified audit firms to submit their EOIs for services as mentioned above. Interested audit firms must provide information indicating their best qualification to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.)
Selection of the audit firm will be conducted in accordance with procedure on "Least cost selection". Description of the services to be provided and the required qualifications are included in the Terms of Reference which can be obtained from the address indicated below or can be downloaded through CSRN of Asian Development Bank.
