BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. As many as 8,223 tourists from Georgia visited Azerbaijan in May 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Tourism Agency shows that this figure decreased by 498 people, or 5.7 percent, compared to the same period last year.
From January to May of this year, 43,027 tourists came from Georgia to Azerbaijan, which represents an increase of 1,091 people, or 2.6 percent, compared to the first five months of 2024.
To note, a total of 244,079 foreign citizens and stateless persons visited Azerbaijan in May 2025, which is 4,808 people, or two percent, more than the same period last year.
In the first five months of this year, 979,963 foreign citizens and stateless persons visited Azerbaijan, which is an increase of 14,408 people, or 1.5 percent, compared to the same period last year.
