ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 25. Representatives of Turkmenistan's 'Turkmendenizderyayollary' Agency (Turkmen State Service of Maritime and River Transportation), as part of their participation in the Canton Fair, which was held in Guangzhou (China), held a number of business meetings with Chinese companies related to shipbuilding, Trend reports.
According to the information in 'Turkmendenizderyayollary', in order to increase the potential of the shipbuilding industry in Turkmenistan, representatives of the agency held talks with Tianjin Minmetals Co., Ltd., which is a certified classification society for the production of welding electrodes and wire.
There were also meetings with representatives of Tianjin Golden Bridge Welding Materials Group Co., Ltd., BMM Science & Technology Corporation, and Three Way Group Exhaust Company, which produce catalytic converters designed to reduce pollutants (decarbonization) in the air emitted by marine engines in order to ensure the green policy of the Caspian Sea and the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
Furthermore, representatives of the agency held talks with Cangzhou Xindingli Cold Bending Machinery Co., Ltd., which produces slate equipment, to explore the possibilities of using it in the production of sea containers, as well as with Zhengzhou City Unites Steel Industrial Co., Ltd. and Shandong Zhongsheng Materials Co., Ltd., which produce slate materials.
Meanwhile, the partnership between Turkmenistan and China in the field of logistics and transport will contribute not only to the development of both countries but also to the strengthening of trade ties between the regions. With the development of such cooperation, we can expect an increase in the transit of goods through the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, which in turn will contribute to long-term economic growth.
