BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 8. South Korea is implementing projects in Kyrgyzstan totaling around $78 million, Sanjarbek Bolotov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, said during a meeting with Hong Seok-hwa, Vice President at the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Trend reports.

Bolotov emphasized Kyrgyzstan's goal of achieving sustainable growth through innovative economic initiatives, including green technologies, energy, local production and export development, digitalization, a creative economy, modern trade and logistics infrastructure, and attracting investments.

He expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation in these areas, which are expected to generate a multiplicative economic effect.

The Deputy Minister also proposed expanding collaboration and securing support for priority projects intended for financing through agency grants.

In turn, Hong Seok-hwa highlighted the ministry's crucial role as the national coordinator for Korea's Official Development Assistance (ODA) and underscored the importance of developing various economic sectors, expressing willingness for fruitful cooperation.
