BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, April 13. The total value of remittances sent to Kyrgyzstan from Türkiye reached $949,000 in February 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the National Bank (NBK) indicates that the figure represents a 23.8 percent increase compared to January 2025 ($766,000).
Overall, remittances from Türkiye to Kyrgyzstan during the first two months of 2025 amounted to approximately $1.7 million.
According to information, total remittances from non-CIS countries to Kyrgyzstan reached $12.9 million in February 2025. In addition to Türkiye, Kyrgyzstan received $4.98 million from the US, $640,000 from South Korea, and $6.3 million from other non-CIS countries.
The total volume of remittances sent to Kyrgyzstan in February 2025 stood at $246.5 million, showing a 14.5 percent increase from $215.3 million in January. The majority of the funds — $233.6 million — came from CIS countries, with Russia remaining the dominant source at $230.1 million.
In 2024, remittance inflows from Türkiye to Kyrgyzstan reached $17.2 million.
