DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, August 31. Tajikistan produced 1,598 tons of bitumen from January through July 2025.
According to data from the country’s Statistical Agency obtained by Trend, bitumen production rose by 0.5 compared with the same period in 2024 (1,589 tons).
In the meantime, total oil production in the country came in at 10,647 tons, showing a 20.5 percent jump from 8,835 tons during January-July 2024.
Overall, industrial enterprises and private entrepreneurs in Tajikistan produced goods worth 34.894 billion somoni ($3.6 billion) during the first seven months of 2025, up 24.5 percent compared with the same period last year.
Extractive output surged 1.7 times, manufacturing increased by 6 percent, and electricity, gas, steam, and air purification production grew by 12.7 percent. Water supply, waste management, and recycling also saw a significant jump of 15.2 percent.
