ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 6. Turkmenistan will focus on modernizing its banking card systems and payment methods by incorporating contactless information technology (NFC) and QR codes, Trend reports.
According to the information, practical steps will be taken to enable remote management of banking operations through Internet banking and mobile banking services, as well as to expand the possibility of banking payments through the Internet.
Meanwhile, the overall work carried out by banks is aimed at successful solution of the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan, including increasing the potential of the national payment system, improving the competitiveness of banks, ensuring sustainable economic growth, providing modern services to citizens and foreign guests.
