Iran's Parskhodro automobile company cuts passenger car production

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. The production of passenger cars at Iranian automaker Parskhodro decreased by 36 percent in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through April 19, 2024) compared to the same month of last year (from March 21 through April 20, 2023), Trend reports.

According to the information, the company produced 4,873 passenger cars in the first month. However, in the same month last year, the company produced 7,663 passenger cars.

During the mentioned month, Parskhodro Auto Plant produced 4,871 Q200 passenger cars and 2 Sahand passenger cars.

To note, during the first month of the current Iranian year, 45,916 passenger cars were produced by Iran's three major automakers (Irankhodro, Saipa, and Parskhodro). This is a 21.4 percent decrease compared to the same month last year. During the same month of last year, the three companies produced 58,466 passenger cars.
