BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. The processing of gas by Iran's Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Processing Company increased by eight percent from March 20 through September 6, 2024, compared to the same period last year, Executive Director of Iran's Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Processing Company Ali Mohammad Pour Reza told reporters, Trend reported.
According to him, over 1.6 bcm of gas was put through its paces at the Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Processing Company during the specified timeframe.
Pour Reza added that the company has executed a significant overhaul in a brief timeframe to enhance manufacturing. This also resulted in an augmentation of gas processing.
“The Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Processing Company is ready to maximize gas conversion during the winter period,” he noted.
To note, the Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Processing Company can produce 10.3 million tons of methane, 1.5 million tons of propane, 490,000 tons of butane, 922,000 tons of sour gas, and 400,000 tons of condensate per year. While the company is operating at its peak, it can generate revenues of $700 million a year.
