BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 27. A total of 2.2 trillion rials (about $3.73 million) has been invested to supply electricity to North Khorasan Province, located in northeastern Iran, the executive director of Iran's North Khorasan Electricity Distribution Company Hossein Chahi told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, today, with the participation of Iranian Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi, power transmission lines, transformers, etc. were put into operation within the framework of 14 projects in North Khorasan province.
Moreover, a 132-kilovolt substation was put into operation in Shirvan Industrial Park in Iran's Khorasan Province. A total of 1.15 trillion rials (approximately $2.02 million) was spent on the construction of the 30-megavolt-ampere substation in 2022.
To note, Iranian President Masoud Pezheshkian visited the Northern Khorasan Province on December 25 with a delegation of ministers. Within the framework of the visit, it is planned to hand over the facilities of many projects.
