BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. The spare parts of the 9th oil refinery of Iran's South Pars Gas Company are fully supplied at the expense of domestic production, Head of the Central Workshop of the 9th Oil Refinery of Iran's South Pars Gas Company, Ahmad Arianmehr told local media, Trend reports.
According to him, currently, 70 percent of the spare parts of the 9th refinery are produced by the central workshop, and the remaining 30 percent are produced by domestic manufacturers.
Arianmehr noted that regarding the fact that 30 percent of the required spare parts of the central workshop of the 9th processing plant are not produced by itself, there should be great opportunities and conditions for these spare parts.
The official emphasized that in recent days, the central workshop of the 9th processing plant has produced a gearbox that reduces the speed of teg pumps, and it will be installed in the coming weeks.
As much as 21 bcm of gas was processed in the 9th refinery of Iran's South Pars Gas Company during ten months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through January 19, 2025).
South Pars Gas Company obtains 650 million cubic meters of rich gas daily from the South Pars gas field. It processes and transfers 580 million cubic meters of gas to the country's gas network. The company also produces 780,000 barrels of gas condensate, 15,000 tons of methane, 15,000 tons of propane, 10,000 tons of butane, and 2,500 tons of sulfur per day.
The South Pars gas field (North Dome in Qatar) is a joint Iran-Qatar gas field. It is reported that this field has 51 trillion cubic meters of gas reserves, of which 36 trillion cubic meters can be produced. Iran's share in this field is 14 trillion cubic meters of gas and 18 billion barrels of gas condensate.
