BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 3. Iran's Vice President for Strategic Affairs, Mohammad Javad Zarif, has resigned following the impeachment of Economy and Finance Minister Abdolnasser Hemmati, Trend reports.
Zarif made the decision after a parliamentary session in which Hemmati was removed from office.
However, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has not yet accepted Zarif's resignation.
