Cargo transshipment from the Netherlands through the ports of Turkey amounted to 6.6 million tons from January through September, Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
The volume of cargo transshipment from the Netherlands by vessels under the flag of Turkey amounted to 84,456 tons, and by vessels under the flags of other countries – 6.2 million tons.
According to the ministry, during the specified period, vessels under the flag of the Netherlands transported 256,990 tons of cargo.
During this period, the volume of cargo transshipment in transit from the Netherlands through the ports of Turkey amounted to 170,805 tons.
In the reporting period, the volume of cargo transshipment through the ports of Turkey amounted to 270.6 million tons.
From January through September, the volume of cargo transshipment by vessels under the flag of Turkey amounted to 21.7 million tons.
From January through September, the volume of cargo transshipment through the ports of Turkey by vessels under the flags of their countries amounted to over 10 million tons, and under the flags of other countries - 238.8 million tons.
During this period, 54.5 million tons of cargo passed through the ports of Turkey.
In September 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment through the ports of Turkey amounted to 31.2 million tons.
In September 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment by vessels under the flag of Turkey amounted to 2.7 million tons.
The volume of cargo transshipment through the ports of Turkey by vessels flying the flags of their countries amounted to over 1 million tons, and under the flags of other countries - 27. million tons.
According to the ministry, in September 2020, 6.2 million tons of cargo were transported through the ports of Turkey.
