The Turkish port of Bartin received 330 ships from January through July 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
“Of the ships accepted at the port, 34 were flying the flag of Turkey, and 296 - the flags of other countries,” the ministry said.
In July 2021, Turkish ports received a total of 4,204 ships. Of these, 1,298 ships were flying the Turkish flag, 2,906 - the flags of other countries.
In total, in the first 7 months of this year, the ports of Turkey received 29,302 ships, including 8,842 ships flying the Turkish flag. The remaining 20,460 ships were flying the flags of other countries flags.
