Türkiye calculates its volume of chemical exports to Israel

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 14. Türkiye's chemical exports to Israel decreased 8.7 percent year-on-year to $189.7 million from January through April 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.

“In April 2024, Turkish chemical exports to Israel decreased by 15.1 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $35.7 million,” the statement from the ministry reads.

Moreover, Türkiye's chemical exports rose 7.3 percent year-on-year to $10.5 billion from January through April 2024.

“In April 2024, Türkiye's exports of chemical products to global markets increased by 5 percent compared to the same month in 2023 to $2.5 billion,” the statement notes.

To note, Türkiye sent $31.2 billion worth of chemicals in the last 12 months (from April 2023 through April 2024).
