Türkiye names volume of chemicals exports to Kyrgyzstan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 12. Türkiye increased its exports of chemical products to Kyrgyzstan by 13.9 percent year-on-year from January through June 2024, reaching $9.6 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.

"In June 2024, Turkish chemical exports to Kyrgyzstan decreased by 25.6 percent compared to the same month in 2023, amounting to $1.5 million," the report said.

From January through June 2024, Türkiye increased its exports of chemical products by 7.9 percent year-on-year, reaching $15.8 billion.

"In June 2024, Türkiye's chemical exports to global markets decreased by 6.5 percent compared to the same month in 2023, totaling $2.2 billion," the report added.

The report also noted that Türkiye exported $31.6 billion worth of chemical products in the last 12 months (June 2023-June 2024).
