Türkiye tallies volume of chemical exports from country to Uzbekistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13. Türkiye reduced its chemical exports to Uzbekistan from January through June 2024 by 7.8 percent to $172.3 million compared to the same period last year, the statement of Türkiye's Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.

"In June 2024, Turkish chemical exports to Uzbekistan decreased by 14.3 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $29 million," the statement notes.

Meanwhile, Türkiye increased its chemical exports by 7.9 percent year-on-year to $15.8 billion from January through June 2024.

"Türkiye's exports of chemical products to world markets decreased by 6.5 percent in June 2024 compared to the same month in 2023 to $2.2 billion," the statement said.

To note, Türkiye exported $31.6 billion worth of chemical products over the past 12 months (from June 2023 through June 2024).
