Türkiye boosts chemical exports to Azerbaijan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13. Türkiye increased its chemical exports to Azerbaijan by 1.8 percent from January through June 2024, compared to the same period last year, to $251.9 million, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.

"In June 2024, Turkish chemical exports to Azerbaijan decreased by 3.8 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $37.7 million," the statement notes.

Meanwhile, Türkiye increased its exports of chemical products by 7.9 percent year-on-year to $15.8 billion from January through June 2024.

"Türkiye's exports of chemical products to world markets decreased by 6.5 percent in June 2024 compared to the same month in 2023 to $2.2 billion," the statement says.

To note, Türkiye exported $31.6 billion worth of chemical products over the past 12 months (from June 2023 through June 2024).
