BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan issued 648,000 manat ($382,000) in loans to non-bank credit institutions (NBCIs) as of January 1, 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the CBA shows that the aforementioned
figure experienced a decrement of 6.9 million manat ($4.09
million), representing a contraction of 11.7 times relative to the
baseline established on January 1 of the preceding year, which
stood at 7.58 million manat, or $4.47 million.
It is pertinent to highlight that, at present, there are 12
Non-Banking Credit Institutions (NBCIs) operational in Azerbaijan,
encompassing entities such as Agrarkredit, EmbaFinans, FINOCO,
Finex Kredit, among others.
