TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 1. The volume of financial services in Uzbekistan reached $5.02 billion from January through May 2025, accounting for 17 percent of the total volume of services rendered in the country.
Data obtained by Trend from the National Statistics Committee indicates that financial services continue to play a leading role in the services sector, showing a growth rate of 119.1 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
This performance underlines the ongoing transformation of Uzbekistan’s non-banking financial sector and reflects the growing demand for digital payment platforms, microfinance, insurance, and investment services. Experts attribute the strong dynamics to the implementation of financial sector reforms, improved regulatory environment, and expansion of inclusive financial products.
