BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 7. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) reported that its net claims on banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) amounted to 8.75 billion manat ($5.15 billion) as of October 1, 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the CBA indicates that this figure rose by 683.7 million manat ($402 million), or 8.5 percent, compared to the previous month.
Additionally, the net claims were 859.6 million manat ($505.5 million), or 8.9 percent lower compared to the same period of the previous year.
To note, the CBA’s net claims on banks and NBFIs as of September 1, 2025, amounted to 8 billion manat ($4.7 billion), while on October 1, 2024, the figure stood at 9.61 billion manat ($5.65 billion).
