The 'Business Strategy in Central Asia: Kazakhstan' regional business forum was held in the city of Udine, situated in the Italian Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said today.
Kazakh ambassador to Italy Andrian Elemesov updated local businessmen with the social and economic achievements of Kazakhstan and broad opportunities created for foreign investors in the country.
President of the Chamber of Commerce of Udine Giovanni da Pozzo stressed the importance of the Kazakh market for Italy and Europe as a whole. Elemesov also held meetings with the prefect of the province of Udine, Ivo Salemme and assessor of the Municipality of Udine Agostino de Mayo. Urgent issues of bilateral regional cooperation were discussed within the talks.
The event was jointly organised by the Kazakh embassy in Italy and the Chamber of Commerce of Udine.
The Prefect of Udine, representatives of SACE - Italian Export Credit Agency and representatives of local companies successfully operating in various sectors of the Kazakh economy such as WWTS Italia Srl, TUVIA Italia SpA and CARLIEUKLIMA SpA, attended the event.
