An official with IDRO Group (Industrial Development & Renovation Organization of Iran) said Brazilian auto manufacturers have voiced readiness to enter Iran’s market.
“Brazilian carmakers have voiced readiness to enter Iran’s auto and trade markets,” Ali Araqchi said, IRNA news agency reported.
Referring to a recent meeting between Head of IDRO Mansour Moazami and Brazilian Ambassador to Tehran Rodrigo de Azeredo Santos in Tehran, he said: “The Brazilian envoy emphasized his country’s readiness for improvement of road transportation ties with Iran”.
Representatives of Brazilian carmakers were also present at the meeting.
Pointing to high capacities of his country in road transportation, Santos had that said Brazilian auto manufacturers were resolved to establish a foothold in Iran’s market, Araqchi said.
“Brazil is ready to finance projects worth 1.2 million euros in Iran,” he said.
During the meeting, Moazami underscored IDRO’s goal of renovating Iranian fleet vehicles adding that his organization looks and wishes for a definite cooperation model between Brazilian consortium and Iranian manufacturers.
