Such enterprises as Uzbekistan Railways, UzAuto Motors (former GM Uzbekistan), Beeline, Ucell, Korzinka.uz store chain and many others appeared in the list of large taxpayers of Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.
The State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has published a list of major taxpayers.
This list includes 1416 companies from different regions of Uzbekistan.
The status of a "major taxpayer" was obtained by the following criteria:
- Companies producing excisable goods;
- Commercial banks and their branches, commodity, stock and currency exchanges;
-State Enterprise “Navoi MMC”, JSC “Almalyksky MMC” and their organizations;
-Organizations involved in the performance of work under production sharing agreements;
- Legal entities whose net revenue for the past calendar year is more than 100 billion soums.
Now, a special commission of 116 people will engage with these companies. The commission will include selected tax officials and specialists from large enterprises. Such measures will allow full tax control.
