The net profit of the six most profitable banks in Georgia for second quarter of 2019 amounted to 345.55 million lari, Trend reports with reference to National Bank of Georgia.
The total profit of the banking sector of Georgia amounted to 365.36 million lari in 2Q2019.
According to the report, in the first half of 2019, TBC Bank had the highest profit, with a net profit of 153.05 million lari. The Bank's net profit beforededuction of target reserves amounted to 266.11 million lari, the income tax paid by it amounted to 13.98 million lari.
Bank of Georgia's net profit by the end of the second quarter of 2019 amounted to 148.35 million lari,and the income tax amounted to 17 million lari.
Net profit for the reporting period of Tera Bank amounted to 12.88 million lari.
Cartu Bank and Credo Bank ranks fourth and fifth places. Their net profit for the first half of the year amounted to 11.91 million lari and 10.14 million lari respectively.
ProCredit Bank's net profit reached 9.19 million lari in the reporting period.
