Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / The Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development has commenced the development of a program for foreign investments through the support of donors by the end of 2007, Askar Alakparov, the chief of the Investment Policy Department at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development.
The Korean organization KOYKO and the German community of technical assistance of GTZ provided a preliminary agreement to develop the project. "We do not know if the document adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers, the President and the State is to be strategic," Alakparov said.
Donors will be invited to implement the project. The aim of the project is to develop a program and work in identifying the oil sector of the economy.
