Iran's Pars Oil and Gas Company and PetroPars Ltd have signed an agreement on the expansion of the country's Balal Gas Field, Trend reports citing Mehr News agency.
Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Zanganeh and Head of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Masoud Karbasian attended the event of signing the contract.
According to the agreement, the project worth $440 million of investments will be implemented within 34 months.
Upon the expansion, the Balal Gas Field will produce 14.1 million cubic meters of sour gas per day.
Iran's Balal Gas Field is located 40 kilometers south-east of South Pars Gas Field in the Persian Gulf.
