Azerbaijan’s NIKOIL Bank issued loans worth 263.21 million manats by the end of the first half of 2019, Trend reports referring to the bank’s financial report.
The total share of problem loans was 22 percent. Of the total loans and leases, the main share of assets accounted for consumer loans (62 percent), amounting to 163.1 million manats. The volume of problem loans among them amounted to 19.6 percent.
Among the remaining assets, loans in the industrial sector (some 20 percent of which consisted of problem loans) made up a significant part (24.2 percent of the total) and amounted to 39.53 million manats. Also, 22.75 million manats were issued in the sphere of trade (27.3 percent consisting of problem loans).
The volume of loans in the agricultural sector amounted to 12.8 million manats (60 percent consisting of problem loans). Loans worth 8.01 million manats were issued in the construction sector (29.1 percent consisting of problem loans). In the transport sector, the bank issued loans in the amount of 3.2 million manats (16.3 percent consisting of problem loans). In other sectors, the bank issued loans worth 13.74 million manats.
