The volume of credit investments in the Azerbaijani economy has grown as of early June 2021, Trend reports referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, this indicator amounted to 14.69 billion manat ($8.64 billion), showing an increase of 3.8 percent or 534.4 million manat ($314.3 million) compared to early 2021.
The volume of loan investments in the reporting period increased by 2.3 percent or 330.4 million manat ($194.3 million) compared to the same period of 2020.
Besides, the deposits of the population as of June 1, 2021, amounted to over 8.63 billion manat ($5.08 billion), thus rising on annual basis by 12 percent or 973.9 million manat ($572.8 million).
