BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 10. The net profit of the branch of the state-owned Bank Melli Iran in Azerbaijan’s Baku city amounted to 1.3 billion manat ($764.7 million) for the first nine months of 2022, Trend reports citing Bank Melli Iran in Baku.
The company's interest incomes amounted to 2.5 million manat ($1.4 million), fees and commissions income - 130,320 manat ($76,658), income from foreign exchange transactions - 138,910 manat ($81,711).
Interest expenses of the Baku branch of the bank amounted to 168,750 manat or $99,264 (a decrease by 27.86 percent over the year), fees and commission expenses - 80,080 manat ($47,105), administrative expenses - 1.32 million manat ($776,470), deductions for creation of reserves for assets - 315,070 manat ($185,335) for the first nine months of 2022.
The profit of the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran before taxes amounted to 1.36 million manat ($794,177) in the third quarter of 2022.
The total assets increased by 5.05 percent - up to 91.2 million manat ($53.6 million), the total capital - by 3.83 percent - up to 36.7 million manat ($21.5 million), total liabilities - by 5.89 percent - up to 54.4 million manat ($32 million) compared to the beginning of the year.
