TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 30. Uzbekistan's cherry exports reached 32,200 tons, generating a revenue of $70.3 million from January through October 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency shows that the recorded volume has decreased by 39.7 percent compared to the same period last year (45,000 tons from January through October 2023).
In general, Uzbekistan exported 1.6 million tons of fruits and vegetables worth $1.2 billion from January through October 2024. This indicator has increased by 14.2 percent compared to the same period last year (1.4 million tons from January through October 2023), and exports of horticultural products accounted for 5.5 percent of Uzbekistan's total exports.
In the meantime, Russia became the largest importer of agricultural products from Uzbekistan, with a total volume of 712,400 tons valued at $539.6 million.
