Speaking of seriousness of economic problems in Iran, Head of Iran's Health and Treatment Committee Hossein-Ali Shahriari said that the nation suffers a lot because of them, ILNA reported.
"The inflation and unemployment problems in Iran affect the whole nation. More than 70 percent of people in the country are under psychological pressure," Shahriari said.
In Iran people are either poor or rich, there's no middle class, he added.
Shahriari mentioned the shortage of imported medicines into the country, noting that additional problems and concerns arise in that sphere as well.
Some Iranian officials have been saying recently that the international sanctions imposed on Iran, have been affecting the country economically, and the population as well.
