A 700-ton distillation tower was installed at the third sector of Iran's Persian Gulf Star Refinery, ILNA reported.
Reportedly, the height of the distillation tower is 69 meters, diameter - 11 meters. It was installed using tower cranes.
The third sector of the Persian Gulf Star Refinery has been fully constructed after installation of this tower.
After this sector is put into operation, daily gasoline production will increase by 12 million liters, from 24 million liters to 36 million liters a day.
Three distillation towers have been installed at the refinery.
Iran's Persian Gulf Star Refinery produces 360,000 barrels of gasoline, diesel, liquefied gas and jet fuel daily.
