BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 31. Iran's Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company achieved a record production level during the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025) compared to the previous six years.
Data obtained by Trend from the company shows that this figure amounted to 4.87 million tons, marking growth of 36 percent compared to the previous three years.
During the last year, Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company exported 1.4 million tons of products, bringing the company $924 million in revenue.
“Over the past three years, Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company has earned a total of $2.3 billion in revenue, reflecting the company’s role in the country’s product exports and strengthening the economy.
To note, the company located on a 270-ha site in Khuzestan Province in the southwest of Iran can produce one million tons of ethane, 1.96 million tons of propane, 1.57 million tons of butane, 1.41 million tons of pentane plus, and 30,500 tons of C4 raffinate per year.
The company also annually produces 411,000 tons of ethylene, 118,000 tons of chemical-grade polypropylene, 64,000 tons of polymer-grade polypropylene, 26,000 tons of butadiene, 88,000 tons of C4 Cut, 180,000 tons of vinyl chloride monomer, 440,000 tons of ethylene dichloride, 63,000 tons of hydrochloric acid, 6,600 tons of bleach, 150,000 tons of heavy polyethylene, 100,000 tons of light polyethylene, and 4,000 tons of artificial rubber.
