Militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) blew up the main pipe of the Iran-Turkey pipeline in the Agri province, Dogan agency reported on Friday.
Twenty eight soldiers, who were sent to the scene to participate in a special operation, injured in the explosion on the pipeline. All the injured were delivered to nearby hospitals for medical care.
Iran supplies 27 million cubic meters of natural gas daily to Turkey via this gas pipeline.
