AGHDAM, Azerbaijan, June 12. The products of Azerbaijan's BAFCO LLC are planned to be exported to France, Arab countries, and also to Russia, the company's general director, Elnur Allahverdiev, said during a media tour to the Aghdam Industrial Park, Trend reports.
"BAFCO LLC opened a shoe manufacturing factory in Aghdam Industrial Park, and today is a special day for us - we'll export the protective footwear of our production to Kazakhstan for the first time. This footwear is produced on DESMA equipment. Claus Fries, the president of DESMA, is now in Azerbaijan. The volume of the first batch of exports will be 5,000 pairs. The range includes various types of footwear - from polyurethane boots to work shoes," he added.
The LLC's annual production capacity, located on a 2.5-hectare site in the Aghdam Industrial Park and equipped with machinery from the well-known German brand Desma, is 510,000 pairs of shoes.
