BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 9. The court hearing in the criminal case against Ruben Vardanyan, a citizen of Armenia accused under articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan related to crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, as well as terrorism, financing of terrorism, and other serious crimes, will continue on February 10, the Baku Military Court told Trend.
The court hearing in Ruben Vardanyan’s case, scheduled for December 30, 2025, was postponed for an indefinite period due to the court panel — chaired by Judge Zeynal Aghayev, with judges Anar Rzayev and Jamal Ramazanov (reserve judge Gunel Samadova) — entering deliberations in another criminal case involving 15 citizens of Armenia.
