Azerbaijan's revenues from mobile communication and information services in the first quarter of 2021 made up 531.2 million manat ($312.4 million), Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, in the reporting period, Azerbaijani mobile operators’ revenues amounted to 219 million manat (41.2 percent of the total revenues of the telecommunications market), down by 2.8 percent compared to 1Q2021.
Meanwhile, information and communication services in the amount of 398.9 million manat ($234.6 million) were provided to the population and organizations in Azerbaijan, which is 2.5 percent more than the same period of last year.
Of the total volume of information and communication services, 75.1 percent fell on the share of services provided to the population. At the same time, 79.6 percent of the income received in the sector accounted for non-state enterprises.
